Ambassadors of Christ

The "Ambassadors of Christ" Workshop is one part of the activities of the Catechsim Teacher Training ministry that aim to enrich and help in this area. This workshop is a one-day Pan-Orthodox traveling seminar offered and financed by the Metropolis of Atlanta through the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios.

This seminar is put together in coordination with V. Rev. Fr. Grigorios Tatsis, Ierokyrix (official preacher of the Metropolis) and Executive Director of Education, Hellenic Culture, and Youth Diakonia Board of the Metropolis, Michelle Cassimus, Metropolis Youth Coordinator, and the Religious Education Committee under Director Rev. Fr. Panayiotis Papageorgiou. The workshops that are led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Samaan, Catechism Teacher Training Chairman, include sessions with V. Rev. Fr. Grigorios Tatsis, Rev. Fr. Panayiotis Papageorgiou, Maria Angeliadis, and Markella Balasis. Each individual session offers practical tools and hands-on training for all those who are working in the field of education in every parish.

This training seminar travels to central points throughout the Metropolis of Atlanta, including the Diakonia Center in South Carolina.
