While the Metropolis of Atlanta provides many activities for our Youth and Young Adults on the parish, conference, and metropolis levels, we also support and encourage our faithful to participate in events sponsored by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Y²AM helps introduce youth and young adults to Christ. Y²AM inspires them to live out their relationship with the Lord and His Church on a daily basis. Being an Orthodox Christian isn't easy. We're here to give you the tools and training you need to help you and the young people you serve find God at work in your everyday lives.

CrossRoad is a ten-day academic summer institute that prepares high school juniors and seniors to make big life decisions and invites them to connect with the Orthodox Christian theological and spiritual tradition in a deep and meaningful way.

Currently there are three sessions, two are located in Boston, MA and the third is in Chicago, IL.

Just steps from St. Augustine, Florida's historic city gates at St. George Street, the St. Photios Greek Orthodox National Shrine, an institution of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, is dedicated to the first colony of Greek people who came to America in 1768. The Shrine consists of exhibits depicting the life of early Greeks in America and the development of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, and the St. Photios Chapel.

Visit the  magnificent Orthodox Chapel filled with Byzantine style frescoes and take a tour of our historic museum. Special exhibits tell the story of the First Greek Colony in the New World. This freestanding exhibit contains various artifacts, photographs and historical documents. Learn More...

Ionian Village is the summer camping ministry of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Each year, Orthodox Christian teenagers and young adults come together under the programs of Ionian Village to embark on spiritual and cultural journeys. The "Ionian Village Experience" provides campers and staff with the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the saints, travel throughout Greece, and build their relationship with Christ all while having the best summer of their life!
