Our Metropolis of Atlanta Archon Religious Retreat that was held this past weekend at the Diakonia Retreat Center was a special time of fellowship for us to be together, to relax and to enjoy being with Metropolitan Alexios who led us in a very interesting and informative discussion about our faith and our heritage. Fr. Constantine Carros made sure that we all had our Cabins in perfect order and the food served was delicious.  The Divine Liturgy was a blessing with two Archons serving as Chanters and our new Archon Dr. George Koulianos (FL) son served as an Altar Boy.  Dr. Koulianos’ wife Erine, who is on the Diakonia Retreat Center Board, gave a summaryof the Files that she has created on the Diakonia Retreat Center Web site suchas History of the Diakonia Center, Camp Activities, Calendar of Events and the Church Candle Sales. The work on the new Web site has been completed and nowawaits final approval before going active. I thank all of the Archons and their wives who were able to come and gatherat the Diakonia Retreat Center and I thank His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios for being our Retreat Master for the weekend.
