The Archangel Michael Feast was prayerfully conceived by His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios upon arriving in Atlanta, as the annual double feast of the Metropolis family. It is to honor and celebrate our Patron Saint and the lives of two people from each parish, who are living examples of the Orthodox Christian life and journey to Theosis. By extension, this special Metropolis feast also serves as the annual Metropolis celebration and thanksgiving for all devout stewards of the faith, giving their time and talent.

The Hellenic Dance Festival (HDF), based on the vision and dream of His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios, began in 2000. HDF has grown into a true family event as it has traveled to various cities throughout the Metropolis of Atlanta for over 20 years. Held annually HDF allows for participants to travel and join together as brothers and sisters in Christ with the steadfast belief that Orthodoxy, the Greek language, and culture, help us maintain our identity as Hellenes.
