His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios thanks God and all participants for an engaging Metropolis of Atlanta Clergy Laity Assembly hosted by St. Nicholas Cathedral. Fr. Athanasios Haros, Nicholas Manias, & Honorable Mayor of Tarpon Springs, Costa Vatikiotis, you and your co-workers opened your hearts as you offered hospitality and support to our 350+ participants.



We leave filled with joy and enthusiasm to implement insights we learned  to boost our Holy Faith and its ministries throughout the eight southeastern US states with its 75 parishes under the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. Glory to God for these  blessings. May He similarly bless Holy Trinity Church in Charleston, SC… the host of our 2025 assembly.

His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios administered the Oath of Office to the Metropolis Council Members and Metropolis Philoptochos Board Members Elected and/or Appointed for 2023-2024.



Hierarchical Liturgy concluded with His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios, Metropolis Clergy, St, Nicholas Cathedral Chantors, and Southeastern Federation of Greek Orthodox Choirs & Musicians assisting.



St. Nicholas Cathedral family was joined by faithful participants of our Clergy Laity Assembly delegates, Presvyteres, Philoptochos delegates and Choir Federation delegates.

Innisbrook Resort & Country Club served as the meeting site and hotel of this year's Clergy Laity Assembly. Its natural beauty inspired all as we worshipped, shared fellowship, and participated in the many workshops and meetings supported by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, Metropolis of Atlanta, and its 75 parishes in the 8 southeastern U.S. states.
