May 17, 2022Beginning May 13th through the 15th, Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Birmingham, AL opened their doors to the Metropolis of Atlanta as they hosted the Metropolis Level St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival.
Thank you to Dorothea Staursky, Fr. Gregory Edwards, Fr. Micah Hirschy and the Parish Council of Holy Trinity-Holy Cross for organizing a beautiful and welcoming weekend, one which saw 28 speakers representing their parishes across seven of our Metropolis Districts.
The Metropolis had 47 parishes participate in this year’s Oratorical.
Congratulations to Victoria Carabus (Holy Trinity Charleston, SC) and Paraskevi Christopoulos (St. George Knoxville). From the 47 Metropolis parishes who participated in this year's Oratorical Festival, they will be representing the Metropolis of Atlanta at the National Festival at Holy Trinity Dallas, TX.
