On the Feast of St George (April 23rd) at the Cathedral of St George in Greenville, SC the faithful beamed with pride as their Youth Director was ordained to the Holy Diaconate. Sponsored by Rev Athanasios Pistolis, Rev Theodore Ehmer, and Rev Anthanasios Haros, Deacon Zachary Thornbury was ordained by the hand of Metropolitan Alexios. Many Years to the entire family!

With great joy and brotherly love, Metropolitan Alexios welcomed Bishop Daniil to the Metropolis of Atlanta. They served together at our Cathedral in Greenville, SC for the Divine Liturgy of St George the Martyr on April 23rd.

Today His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios announced his official travel schedule for the Holy Week Services. He will be traveling to: Paracletos Monastery in Abbeville, SC; Holy Trinity Cathedral in Charlotte, NC; St. Nektarios Church in Charlotte, NC; Annunciation Church in Winston Salem, NC; Holy Trinity Church in Raleigh, NC; SS.
