St. Paul's Greek Orthodox Church in Savannah, GA hosting the Metropolis of Atlanta's St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival. We had 28 speakers from our 7 districts. After a inspirational morning of listening to our youth, we took a Trolley ride around the historic city of Savannah. the St. Paul's community hosted an awards dinner and glendi for all participants and their families. We are happy to announce that Kristina (St. Nektarios Charlotte) and Anastasia (Annunciation Cathedral Atlanta) will be representing us at the National Festival May 31 in Pittsburgh, PA.
His Eminence visited Sts. Raphael, Nicholas & Irene GOC in Cumming, GA on Sunday, April 27th it was a blessing to have him lead our service with Fr. Barnabas Powell on Sunday of St. Thomas. HE also tonsured our Altar servers, AXIOS!

His Eminence tonsured 18 altar boys reminding them that the church is their home and they should always return home no matter where their life takes them to feel the love of God and the love of their parish family.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Over 3500 participants gathered Jan. 16-20 at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem to attend the 24th Hellenic Dance Festival (HDF). The Metropolis of Atlanta-sponsored event hosted participants from across its Metropolis and beyond. Participants included 60 dance groups along with representatives from Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Nebraska, and Louisiana. The weekend was highlighted by the attendance and participation of His Eminence Metropolitan Sevastianos of Atlanta.
Today, January 9, 2025, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and the Members of the Holy and Sacred Synod received the newly elected Metropolitan Sevastianos of Atlanta at the Ecumenical Patriarchate for the Lesser (Micro) Minima.
